Reflections: God, Show Me Who You Made Me to Be

Text reads reflections.
There is a pen writing on a page that contains the words God show me who I am.

Today I want to encourage you to look to God to find your worth.

I wrote this poem reflecting on Psalm 139 from the Bible. It is a prayer asking God to help me see myself the way God sees me.

Dear God, Show Me Who You Made Me to Be (Original Poem)

You knew me before there was time,
Your thoughts overflowing twards me.
You know every word in my mind
You found joy in creating me.

You know my story from beginning to end
Your love is endless for me.
Wove me together with your own hands
How to grasp this mystery.

Teach me to see the way you do,
For all you do is wonderful
All that you do is good.
Only you are powerful.

You took the time to form me
Help me see the beauty in all you create.
To know I have a place in your story
That I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

You can listen to the poem below.

I share a short Christian devotional each week. I hope this reminds you that God loves you.
