We will often come upon many questions while on this journey through life. I find that the best place to find answers to these questions is in the Bible. I especially like to reference the book of Proverbs for life advice. Here are some life lessons I have learned from Proverbs chapter 15.
1. When I find myself in an argument it is best for me to remain calm and give a calm response in order to calm the situation. I have learned that raising my voice will not fix anything and it will only prolong the argument.
2. It is worth it in the end to follow God’s ways and wisdom because God truly wants the best for each person even if it is hard at times. I will face punishment for the bad things I do on this earth and I must fear and love God at the same time.
3. All Christians will receive correction from God as he is our father and this is also a lesson for children to obey their parents and accept correction. Parents who correct their children in a sensible way of course, show that they love their children and want to lead them in the right direction as God leads his children.

4.Money does not really lead to happiness. It is better to live in a simple home filled with those who truly love you than to have a mansion but be unhappy. The love of money and having a greedy mindset will only lead to trouble at the end of it all. When we die we will not take anything with us so it is important to remember that it is loving others that truly brings joy in the end.
5. I have learned that God truly understands how we all feel from depression to joy. I think it is important to allow ourselves to feel all the emotions and not hide how we feel. An encouraging word can really go a long way in changing someone’s mood.
