Reflections: Praying for one more Revival in the United States

I have been reflecting recently on the recent tragic events that have occurred in the United States. There have been some horrible losses of innocent lives in a relatively short time, and this was caused by extreme evil. 

I truly believe that God is telling every person living in the United States to wake up, and this includes myself. I believe that God allows everything to happen for a reason and that these events are a kind of warning for all to seek God.

I do believe that the United States has forgotten God and the foundation that it was founded upon. The United States was founded by people who believed in God, the one true God, the God of the Bible. When I look back to where this nation began and the values once held strong and compare it to today it is truly a change from light to darkness.

I believe that God offers love and forgiveness and grace but he also brings punishment and judgement when society falls into the dark side. Today the United States has fallen deep into the dark side and it should be trembling before God as judgement can come upon this nation at any moment in a large way.

I am not saying that judgement will come but it is highly possible, so while there is still time I have suddenly had a strong prayer in my heart. The prayer is that there will be a large revival one more time in the United States. I pray that many people will wake up and find salvation in Jesus Christ. I pray that many people start reading the Bible and find the love of God. 

God is a refuge and strength in hard times and the only solution to fight the darkness of the times we live in. I am focussing on the United States because this is the nation I live in but I extend this to every nation in the world. 

Jesus Christ is waiting for you to come, just admit you are a sinner which means you are not perfect, and call out to him and ask him to save you. We all deserve to go to hell but Jesus was crucified and died and went to hell in our place. 

He defeated death as God the father raised him from the dead and is alive today waiting for you to completely trust him with your life and then you will receive eternal life. 

This has caused me to examine myself and has reminded me to turn my entire heart back to God. I want to live my life to honor God.

God will use all things for good. Keep praying and trust God and do not give up.
