Hello everyone, I hope that December has started off well for you and that you had a nice November. Here are some of my favorite things and moments during the month of November.
Favorite sermon
One of my favorite sermons that I listened to last month is titled “Men Shall Be Unthankful”. The focus of the sermon was on the reasons why we become unthankful. This made me reflect on my own attitude in life and reminded me to be on guard against becoming unthankful.
Favorite Music
One song that got my attention was the song “Wonderful” by Lacey Sturm. This song reminds me to stop and reflect on how awesome God is and I should not let anything or anyone take God’s place.
Favorite YouTube video
One video I discovered on YouTube was a short documentary on a town that exists in one building in Whittier, Alaska. It is interesting to learn how everything is contained in that one building even including a grocery store. I won’t give much away but I encourage you to watch the video. I would actually love to live in a place like that.
Favorite moments and lessons
This year for Thanksgiving I went to my cousin’s house. We had a nice time and good food. We had fried turkey, pork, rice, various salads, pastelon, empanadas and various desserts.
I do not have any life lessons to share this time. I did get a cold the last week of November and it really took away my strength for a few days. I am thankful to God that I am feeling better and it has reminded me to always be thankful for health.
