Snack Review: Harry and David Sweet and Spicy Snack Mix

I had been wanting to try some items from Harry and David for a long time and I was finally able to purchase some treats for Christmas. One specific item that I really enjoyed is the Harry and David Sweet and Spicy Snack Mix. Here is my honest review of this snack. This post is not sponsored by Harry and David. I just want to spotlight this snack.

Packaging and presentation

The first thing that I like about this snack is the packaging. One thing that I like is how all of the contents of the snack are clearly listed right on the front. Another thing that I like is that the bag is sturdy and resealable. This is an important feature that should exist on every snack bag.

I think the package presents the snack very well with clear and easy to read text. I am visually impaired and I use assistive technology that can turn text to speech and the app I use had no issues recognizing the text on the package. I really appreciate this.

Taste and texture

This snack mix contains 3 types of flavored peanuts; hot and spicy, butter toffee and honey. It also features honey sesame sticks, cajun sticks and corn nuts. 

I am not a fan of anything spicy but this snack is very good. The sweetness of the butter toffee, honey peanuts and corn nuts balance the levels of sweet and spice. The sticks compliment the peanuts very well.

I like the crunchy texture, it has just the right amount of crunch and the small size of each of these makes it easy to enjoy each bite.

Who is this snack for?

You will enjoy this snack if you like a mix of crunchy, sweet and spice. It is a really good mix of variety. This snack is good for when you are on the go or just relaxing at home.
